Steigen Folk Museum is located at Laskestad on the southern side of the island of Engeløya. The museum also includes the old school located on the northern side of the island.

The museum has a fine collection of artefacts displayed in the old doctor’s residence "Breidablik" and features a garden with old herbs. During the summer season, refreshments are available at the “Doktorfruens” Café.
